I didn't want anyone leaving an event with a paper card they'd lose by Monday. I wanted my contact in their phone, and theirs in my CRM, with a single tap.

TapFlow™ was one of the first products I built after launching Upward Seven. The idea was simple: replace the paper business card with something people can't lose, and make the exchange work both ways. One scan of a QR code opens a branded contact page. One tap saves my details to their phone. One more tap sends their details straight into my CRM.

The challenge

Paper business cards leak leads. Most get tossed, lost or forgotten, and the ones that survive still depend on someone typing your details into their phone. For a growing brand, the bigger problem runs the other way: the business owner rarely gets the other person's contact back. Networking conversations end with no follow-up, no record in the CRM and no next step. Upward Seven set out to solve both sides at once: • Make it effortless for people to save your contact in one tap • Capture their details in return, automatically, into the CRM • Give every conversation a clear next step — a message, a booking or a chat with an AI assistant

The solution TapFlow™ is a branded digital business card that opens on any phone — no app needed — and connects every action to GoHighLevel.

Creative challenges

Paper cards get lost, and most digital cards are just a page of links. They hand over your info but capture nothing in return. The challenge was a true two-way exchange that takes seconds, needs no app, and feels as polished as the brand behind it.

The card had to live where people already look: the phone's lock screen. I designed a lock-screen wallpaper in the Upward Seven magenta-to-aqua gradient, with a custom pink QR code carrying the brand mark at its center. No app, no NFC chip, no fumbling. Just wake the phone and let someone scan. On the card itself, button style sets the priority. Solid magenta buttons hold the actions that matter most: Save My Contact, Please Share Your Contact, Talk to My AI and Book a Consultation. Outlined buttons hold the channels: Instagram, Website, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Email. A first-time visitor knows exactly where to tap.
